A 34-year-old Carlisle woman who was walking her dog in the 500 block of Mooreland Avenue today was charged and bitten once on each leg by another dog, according to Carlisle police.
One of the bites broke the skin, but she did not bleed, police said. She described the dog as yellow and reddish in color, medium to large, possibly a yellow lab or golden retriever, with a collar and tags, according to police.She said it was unattended and sitting on the sidewalk, police said, noting that they have not been able to locate the dog or its owner.
Police ask anyone with information to contact them at 243-5252.
